Choosing the optimal time and location for stargazing can be a challenging task. It can be frustrating to set up your telescope, only to have to pack it away hastily due to sudden cloud cover.

Fortunately, there is a solution. With iCSC, a groundbreaking iPhone application, you can effortlessly search for the ideal observing spot. This innovative app uses the renowned Clear Sky Charts developed by Attilla Danko.

The Clear Sky Chart, a creation of Attilla Danko and continuously updated by him, provides a comprehensive snapshot of the predicted weather conditions for stargazing at a specific location over the next 48 hours.

This extensive collection includes over 4600 charts exclusively focused on North America. The data is meticulously provided by Allan Rahill from the Canadian Meteorological Center and encompasses essential factors such as Cloud Cover, Transparency, Seeing, Darkness, Wind, Humidity, and Temperature. Users can also utilize an informative legend to facilitate chart interpretation.

iCSC empowers users to conveniently search for charts according to their title, location, or via an integrated map function. Furthermore, users have the option to save charts they frequently reference and require for their stargazing pursuits.
